Online Submissions for Publication

The Undergraduate Law Review publishes pieces that cover a wide range of topics grounded in a legal foundation. The journal often publishes analyses that either cover a legal subject relevant to the present day, or reviews and comments on history from a legal perspective. We appreciate unique and bold opinions that contribute to New York University discourse and broader debate. Writers are allowed freedom in choosing the length and structure of their piece; however, compositions must follow the journal’s rules of writing style, detailed in the 2019 - 2020 ULR at NYU Style Guide.

Standards

The ULR maintains high standards of writing, particularly in regard to elements that are likely to affect the clarity and tone of our publication. This guide outlines the proper usage of layout, grammar, citation, and marketing identity to help establish and maintain consistency across all ULR communications and publications.
