Yes. We accept submissions of articles composed during your years of undergraduate studies, regardless of your graduation date.

Can I work with the ULR and publish an article while studying abroad?
Yes. Writers can collaborate with the ULR and publish while studying abroad.

Can a writer submit an essay on an international topic or a subject not directly pertinent to the legal field?
Yes. The ULR does not limit writing based on geography or topic. However, all submissions are subject to editorial review and are not guaranteed publication.

What steps does an interested writer need to do to be published by the NYU Undergraduate Law Review?
Writers will submit their article for consideration to the team via e-mail to ulrnyu@gmail.com. Upon executive review and approval of the piece, a writer will be assigned a staff editor and executive editor who will provide feedback as needed on draft revisions before the final publication.

Do I need to be a member of the ULR in order for you to publish my piece?
No. Membership is not required.
